Are Manchester United one of three teams to challenge Arsenal’s annual top four status?

Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal’s North London rivals completely capitulated in their final five games of last season, picking up only five points out of a possible 15, and ended up finishing third in what was seemingly a two-horse race.

Despite Pochettino’s insistence that finishing above Arsenal was not important for Spurs, 21 years of sitting below your biggest rivals is a record that no team wants to have associated with them.

Pochettino’s side had a fantastic season; at least until the final five games, and he will be looking to improve even further in the coming season.

The Argentine believes in his young players such as Dele Alli and Harry Kane, and has made sensible signings for the 2016/17 season.

Even though they face the challenge of the Champions League this season, Pochettino should know how to manage this so that their league form doesn’t suffer as a result and Tottenham can try and pip Arsenal to the post for the first time in over two decades.
