Arsenal weren’t at the races against Porto on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners were incredibly flat going forwards. They didn’t have a single shot on target and many of their top players didn’t turn up on the day.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard were all below-par on the day, but there was one attacking player in the Arsenal team who turned up according to Brian Kerr.
Speaking on Virgin Media Sport, Kerr did lay into Arsenal’s attackers, and he says that Odegaard was the only player in that front four who turned up on the day.

Martin Odegaard was the only attacking player who turned up
Kerr spoke about the Norwegian and his teammates.
“Apart from Odegaard I don’t think any of the attacking players performed. The doubts people had about Havertz will now be at the forefront. There was no presence about him whatsoever in the match,” Kerr said.
Not enough
Odegaard was showing plenty of intent against Porto, but the whole team wasn’t performing on the day, and if it’s not clicking around him, Odegaard isn’t able to work his magic.
He tried things, he worked hard, and he looked for the ball, but ultimately he wasn’t able to make much happen in the final third, and that cost Arsenal.
The Gunners can’t afford a repeat of this performance in the second-leg, because if they play like that again, they will, once more, be looking at a premature exit from the Champions League at the last 16 stage.
Odegaard can hold his head high after this game, but many of his teammates need to look in the mirror and consider how they can improve in order to make an impact in the return fixture.
