Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte got off to the perfect start to the new season after his side thrashed Southampton 4-1 at home on Saturday.
And one standout performer was Ryan Sessegnon as the youngster bagged his first Premier League goal for the club, but Conte wasn’t happy with his positioning at the start of the game.
In a video on the club’s website, the Italian can be seen shouting at Sessegnon during the opening moments and gesturing for him to move further up the pitch.

The Italian demands high attacking output from his wing-backs and clearly thought the 22-year-old was occupying too deep of a position at the beginning of the game.
And Sessegnon definitely heard Conte as he responded by doing exactly what his boss asked of him.
The Spurs man went on to put in a brilliant attacking display against the Saints as he popped up at the back post with a superb header later on in the first-half.
Conte wasn’t happy with Sessegnon’s positioning
Conte’s system demands that his wing-backs provide a consistent attacking threat down either flank and he was clearly unhappy with Sessegnon at the start of the game.
But the Italian’s instructions paid off for the England U21 international as he caused the Saints problems all afternoon.
It was an intriguing battle between him and former Tottenham man Kyle Walker-Peters as the pair went head-to-head down that side of the pitch.
And Sessegnon arguably got the better of the Saints man as he rose above him for the first goal.

The youngster now faces stiff competition for a starting role at Spurs after the signing of Ivan Perisic, but Sessegnon seems more than ready for the challenge.
The Croatian also offered Sessegnon some advice before the game and it paid off, so the pair seem to be striking up a budding relationship already.
Sessegnon has clearly benefited from a full pre-season under Conte and is building off a promising end to the last campaign. The former Fulham man put in one of his best performances in a Spurs shirt on Saturday and will be hoping to build on this display over the coming weeks.
