Journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Antonio Conte is unconvinced over bringing Weston McKennie to Tottenham Hotspur – even though Fabio Paratici could sign him.
Spurs’ interest in McKennie is well-documented, with Paratici previously bringing McKennie from Schalke to Juventus during his time in Italy.
The 24-year-old has impressed during his time in Turin but has been inconsistent this season under Massimiliano Allegri.
Paratici is clearly a big fan of the American midfielder but it seems that Conte is undecided at this moment in time.

Conte unconvinced over McKennie
Ben Jacobs reports that McKennie’s potential availability has alerted a number of Premier Clubs and Spurs have a long-standing interest in the player.
Juventus are now open to selling the midfielder for the right price, but Spurs are still undecided on the move, particularly Conte.
Jacobs claims that Juve would be looking for a price worth upwards of £20 million for their player.
It’s clear that Paratici is a huge admirer of the player after signing him for the Old Lady. McKennie seems well suited to Premier League football with his physical and dynamic style of play.
But if Conte doesn’t want the player, then it would be a pointless move for Spurs.

The Italian has already added Yves Bissouma to his squad over the summer, while Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg remain first choice.
McKennie would represent a similar profile of midfielder to the options Conte already has.
Spurs should be looking at bringing in a real playmaker or creative midfielder to give Conte’s side more of a threat going forward.
There’s no doubt that McKennie is a talented player and is arguably better on the ball than some of Conte’s current options. But if the Italian is unconvinced by the signing, Paraticic should be looking elsewhere to keep the Spurs boss happy.
