Antonio Conte spotted laughing and joking in training with ‘fantastic’ Tottenham player pre-West Ham

Tottenham are preparing to face West Ham this weekend and will go into the game in good spirits after their win over Brighton in midweek.

Harry Kane was once again on the scoresheet and the challenge for Conte now is to get some consistency in the ranks and win a few games in a row. Of course, it is a general pattern which has eluded Conte and Tottenham in recent times.

One man who has been key for Tottenham as well in recent weeks is their new signing, Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish winger has been superb in wide areas and has provided good support in the final third for the likes of Kane and Son.

And watching the latest Tottenham training video on the club’s YouTube channel, Kulusevski can be seen sharing a laugh and a joke with his manager, Antonio Conte. Members of the squad are also looking on and laughing, with whatever Conte and Kulusevski were jesting about clearly going down well with the squad.

Kulusevski laughed that he was ‘very sad’ to Conte, suggesting the Italian coach was on the wind up with his new man.

In terms of being a good January signing, Dejan Kulusevski – branded ‘fantastic’ by Conte – is certainly looking like one. He’s brought a fresh energy to Spurs, while the goals and assists he’s providing are the icing on the cake.

Clearly, he’s settled in well too. This training clip was a nice insight into how Conte interacts with his players in a more relaxed mood and the Tottenham squad clearly enjoyed it.

Conte is slowly getting there with this Tottenham squad and little moments like this are always good for team spirit.
