Tottenham Hotspur have endured a rollercoaster of a season so far, and the last few weeks have been especially up and down.
In this calendar year, Spurs have picked up exhilarating wins against Manchester City and Leicester, and hammered Everton and Leeds.
However, Tottenham have also lost to the likes of Southampton, Wolves, Burnley and, worst of all, Championship Middlesbrough.
On Monday night, Spurs once again showed how good they can be when everything clicks together.
Antonio Conte’s charges were rampant as they beat Everton 5-0, with Harry Kane scoring twice.

“More complete”
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, three Conte masterstrokes from the January transfer window were on display.
The first two are in the shape of Spurs’ January signings, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Tottenham struggled in the January window before getting Kulusevski and Bentancur over the line on deadline day.
Both players arrived at Spurs to a somewhat mixed fan reaction, but both are quickly becoming favourites amongst the N17 faithful.
Kulusevski has quickly taken to life at Tottenham and in the Premier League, and shone against the Toffees.
The Swede put Son through on goal for Spurs’ second.
He also grabbed a second assist with his low ball for Sergio Reguilon.
Likewise, Bentancur made things tick in the middle and weighed in with some strong tackles. Tottenham look much better with him in the side.
“In January two players made us more complete,” Conte told football.london after the match.

“Looks fitter, sharper and more confident”
And the third is opting to give Matt Doherty a second chance amid reports linking him with a move away.
The 30-year-old looked surplus to requirements just a couple of months ago but now he’s shining at right wing-back.
As The Athletic wrote on Tuesday, “Conte soon realised that the solution to his right wing-back problem was staring him in the face all along.”
Jack Pitt-Broke spoke of how Doherty “looks fitter, sharper and more confident than he has been throughout his time at Spurs.
“Conte also pointed to how the competitive environment between his wing-backs has brought the best out of all four of them.”
It hasn’t been smooth sailing for Tottenham this season. However, displays such as those against Man City, Leeds and Everton show there’s a lot of potential.
And with Conte at the helm and Fabio Paratici overseeing transfers, it bodes well for the summer window.
