Tottenham take on West Ham United this weekend as they look to make it two wins on the bounce heading into the international break over the weekend.

Manager Antonio Conte will be looking to get the consistency in his side that has been missing all season, and beating a team in and around them like the Hammers would be a huge boost.

In order to see off David Moyes’ side, Conte will need his best Tottenham players firing. One of those to impress in recent weeks has been Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish winger has been exceptional since arriving in January and has chipped in with goals and assists lately.

And speaking about Kulusevski ahead of West Ham, Conte has admitted that the young winger is seriously impressing him in training.

“To play with Juventus for one year and a half, you understand what it means to live with pressure. Probably he could ‘crack’ in the future. Also because I can see the intensity, the will and the desire to play. As everyday in training session he is a type of player in his mind to become a top player in his career,” Conte told The Athletic.

“While I am his manager, I try to help him to improve and believe. For sure, he is an important prospect for the present and for the future. He has to continue in this way he has been one month and a half. He has improved physically, tactically and his mentality.”

TBR’s View: Kulusevski Looking To Make His Mark Again

There is no doubt that Kulsevski has made a big impact already and he’ll be looking to continue that this weekend by helping Spurs see off the Hammers.

Since his signing in January, he has hit the ground running better than many might have expected. Conte is clearly impressed, and that in itself is no mean feat by Kulusevski. As things stand, he’s looking like a very shrewd January signing indeed.
