Antonio Conte did not look happy with 22-year-old Tottenham man vs Forest, but he was celebrating just moments later
Conte’s men travelled to the City Ground on Sunday and came away with three points after beating Forest 2-0.
Spurs were underwhelming for large parts of the game but still managed to create better opportunities than Forest.
Sessegnon was introduced in the second-half and Conte did not look happy with the 22-year-old just moments before Harry Kane scored his second goal.
Conte did not look happy with Sessegnon
The Spurs youngster was put through down the left-hand side but failed to pick out the unmarked Kane in the box.
And Conte threw his arms out then walked towards the Tottenham bench.
But just moments later, Richarlison won the ball back and set up Kane with a delightful cross into the box.
And the Italian was certainly pleased as he celebrated and hugged Yves Bissouma.
Sessegnon got off to a flying start this season as he put in an incredible display against Southampton on the opening day.
The England U21 international scored a goal and provided a real threat against the Saints.
But he has since lost his place in the side to Ivan Perisic after an underwhelming display in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea two weeks ago.
Sessegnon may now have to wait patiently for another opportunity to start as Perisic has also impressed in his first two starts for Spurs.
The former Fulham man will be keen to force his way back into the starting eleven but has a great player to learn from in Perisic.
Spurs travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham tomorrow night and it will be interesting to see if Perisic gets the nod for the third game running.
