Antonio Conte did not look happy with £15m Spurs man during the second-half vs Chelsea, was screaming at him

Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte did not look happy with Pierre-Emile Hobjerg during the second-half against Chelsea.

In a video on the club’s website, Conte can be spotted screaming at Hojbjerg during the second drinks break of the game

The Danish international joined Spurs back in the summer of 2020 as he made the switch from Southampton for a fee of £15 million (Sky Sports).

The 27-year-old has been a mainstay in the Tottenham midfield ever since and is a clear favourite of Conte too.

Hojbjerg put in a decent display against Chelsea on Sunday and scored a well-taken long range effort during the 2-2 draw.

But during the drinks break, Conte did not look happy with Hojbjerg as he can be seen shouting orders at him.

In the video on Spurs Play, the Italian boss approaches the midfielder and seemingly gives him instructions to carry out on the pitch

Conte was passionately screaming orders at Hojbjerg while gesturing at him, and it came just after the Denmark international had drew Spurs level in the game.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek often dropped into the centre of the pitch, alongside Mason Mount, which gave Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur a tough time as they were overloaded by Chelsea players.

But despite this, Hojbjerg and the Spurs team battled on to earn a crucial point at Stamford Bridge.

Conte will be happy to come away with a point in a game where his team were second-best for most of the 90 minutes.

Along with Hojbjerg, the Spurs team showed a resolve that possibly hasn’t been there in recent years.

The Italian boss will certainly be delighted to see one of his midfielders popping up with a goal as well and will be hoping that Hojbjerg can contribute more over the coming season.
