TBR Football understands that Napoli are continuing to battle with Nottingham Forest for the signature of Dan Ndoye, but they are also talking to alternatives, one of which we understand is Chelsea star Raheem Sterling.
Forest are pushing hard to beat Napoli to Belgian star Ndoye, as TBR Football previously revealed, and Napoli are now exploring other potential wide players, with Sterling among those of interest.
Sterling is back at Chelsea following his loan stint at Arsenal last season, but he has been informed that he has no future at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling’s camp and intermediaries are working on options for him, including the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer – but we are told the 30-year-old would rather stay in Europe.
Exclusive: Napoli have spoken to Chelsea star Raheem Sterling’s camp
TBR Football can exclusively reveal through chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that Napoli have had conversations with Sterling’s camp, and they have confirmed they would be interested in bringing him to the club.
Napoli boss Antonio Conte is believed to have approved a possible approach for Sterling.
Sterling has also attracted interest from Chelsea’s King’s Road rivals Fulham, although they are understood to be pushing ahead with a deal for Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson.
Bailey states: “Napoli want at least one more wide player to bolster their squad, but their deal for Ndoye has proven complicated to say the least.
“They are doing their due diligence on options, and Raheem Sterling is one whom they like. Despite not playing a huge number of games at Arsenal, he proved his fitness and feels he still can play at the very highest level, and Napoli could offer him that.”
Raheem Sterling could link up with Kevin de Bruyne
If the move to Italy were to materialise, Sterling would of course link up with his former Manchester City teammate, Kevin de Bruyne, who moved to the Italian champions this summer.
Alongside this, he’d go from enemies to friends with former Manchester United star, Scott McTominay – who, of course, is the crown jewel in the Napoli side after his ludicrous inaugural Serie A campaign.
