Newcastle United maverick Anthony Gordon has now been praising another young player at the club for their efforts in training.
With six games to go, there’s still a big opportunity for Eddie Howe’s side to climb up the table.

Tottenham Hotspur are 10 points ahead right now, but when you compare the remaining fixtures of the two sides, it’s certainly not impossible to think that Spurs could be caught.
Alexander Isak has been leading the way of late, a player who is perhaps proving that he has the potential to be one of the world’s best, let alone just in the Premier League.
And when you’re praising the Swedish striker, both Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon can’t be far behind.
The trio have all been outstanding this season, and the excellent availability of both Bruno and Gordon has been immensely important.
Considering the injuries Newcastle have suffered, the possibility of a sixth or even fifth placed finish in the Premier League should be celebrated.
That being said, in an interview with Gary Neville on The Overlap, Anthony Gordon has just been praising one of his Newcastle teammates.
Anthony Gordon says Newcastle teammate Elliot Anderson has been amazing in training
The winger spoke about a variety of subjects and then couldn’t help but praise his teammate, Elliot Anderson.
21-year-old Anderson, who has missed a long part of this season owing to a back injury, has made a real impression on the first-team this season and last.

After scoring a ton of goals for Newcastle’s academy sides, Elliot Anderson has now made 49 senior appearances, a player Eddie Howe can trust at the highest level.
And when speaking in the interview, Gordon credited how well his teammate was also doing behind the scenes.
He said: “He’s a top player. He is just a young player finding his feet in the games. He’s been top in training for a while, but he’s just finding his feet.”
Of course, Anderson will be hoping that he can still have a big impact before this season closes.
That being said, the Newcastle United man could have added competition next season if reports are to be believed.
Because as well as the stars that are often linked with an exit from the club, Eddie Howe is thought to be very keen to add one Premier League midfielder to his side.
