Late in the January transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Anthony Georgiou was sent out on loan to Spanish side Levante.
Georgiou joins La Liga side Levante for the remainder of the season, aiming to deliver a top ten finish for the 11th-place side.
And this loan spell could be vital in deciding where Georgiou’s long-term future lies; will he make a Spurs breakthrough or be forced to move elsewhere?
The London-born midfielder has had a frustrating 2018/19 campaign so far, which has been dogged by injuries.
Georgiou operates as a winger, but can also fill in at left-back, making him a versatile option for Tottenham if he can fulfil his potential.

But after managing just five games for Tottenham’s under-23 team this season, the 21-year-old moves to Levante hoping to steer clear of injury and prove his worth.
Georgiou’s contract lasts until summer 2020 but this could be a make or break loan stint for him.
When he returns in the summer, he will be 22 and there will be one year remaining on his Spurs deal.
The 2019/20 season will be the Cyprus international’s final chance to prove he has a future at Tottenham but whether he gets an opportunity depends on how he does at Levante.
