‘Announce Thiago’ – Liverpool fans call for new signing as Curtis Jones pens new deal

Liverpool have managed to tie down young midfielder, Curtis Jones, to a new long-term deal with the club and Reds fans have been reacting in their droves on Twitter.

The club confirmed the news late on Saturday, giving Jurgen Klopp’s men a timely boost as they prepare to host Aston Villa tomorrow.

The youngster has broken into the first-team picture this season and played his part as Liverpool have romped to Premier League glory ahead of Manchester City.

Jones is the latest in a long line of young talents to emerge in recent years at Anfield, following in the footsteps of the likes of Trent-Alexander Arnold and, more recently, Neco Williams.

The midfielder has impressed, too, when called upon by Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool fans were absolutely delighted to see the club tie down another top young talent.

It seems, however, that Reds fans also want a certain Spaniard named Thiago to also be announced!
