As Glasgow Rangers secured a triumphant comeback victory on Thursday night, plenty of Bears were left loving an Ibrox-loving professional’s Twitter message.
Steven Gerrard’s charges came from two goals down to get the better of Sporting Braga 3-2 at Ibrox in the first leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie.
Rangers were left with a mountain to climb come the hour mark, but that’s certainly what they did as Ianis Hagi’s brace, either side of Joe Aribo’s goal, gave the Ibrox side a superb victory.
Oli McBurnie, who plies his trade for Sheffield United in the Premier League, is a staunch Rangers fan and, as such, was following proceedings at Ibrox closely.
And when Hagi’s second went in, his reaction on social media echoed that of all his fellow Bears:

And plenty of Gers fans responded, some even urging him to join Gerrard and co north of the border:
@oli_mcburnie !!! Surely you want to be at ibrox on the pitch on these nights!!!

It may be a little while before McBurnie links up with Rangers, as he only joined Sheffield United last summer, and is contracted to the English Premier League club until 2023.
In addition, the 23-year-old is part of a pretty wonderful story at Bramall Lane, the newly promoted side defying all the pre-season odds to sit sixth in the table.
Nonetheless, given his love for Rangers, his undoubtable talent and his young age, it could very well happen sometime in the future.
