Tottenham Hotspur bounced back from their horror show prior to the international break by recording an emphatic 4-1 win over West Ham United on Saturday.
Spurs hosted the Hammers in the day’s early Premier League kick-off and, while the hosts didn’t start very well, they certainly turned things around.
Mohammed Kudus opened the scoring in the 18th minute, but Tottenham struck back in the 36th minute through the in-form Dejan Kulusevski.
Spurs added a second in the 53rd minute as Son Heung-min and Destiny Udogie combined to set Yves Bissouma up for a neat finish.
Tottenham made it three just two minutes later as Jean-Clair Todibo’s deflection came off goalkeeper Alphonse Areola and went into the Hammers net.
Then, in the 60th minute, the Spurs captain got the better of Todibo with some stepovers before beating Areola at his near post to make it 4-1 to Spurs.
After the match, Ange Postecoglou gave his honest verdict on Destiny Udogie, who had a great game despite not covering himself in glory for West Ham’s opener.

Ange Postecoglou backs Destiny Udogie to become ‘fantastic footballer’ for Tottenham
Udogie allowed Jarrod Bowen to ease past him in the area, and the Hammers winger proceeded to set Kudus up for the visitors’ opener.
However, the Italy international didn’t let his head drop and he surged back with a superb display that culminated in an assist for Yves Bissouma.
Postecoglou spoke at length to football.london about Udogie, admitting that he “could’ve done better” for the opposition goal, but saying he made amends later on.
The Tottenham boss also had no qualms about what the future holds for Udogie, namely that he will become a truly “fantastic” player.
“He was better,” began Postecoglou. “I still think for their goal he could’ve done better.
“We’ve got to continually work with Destiny as he’s still a young player, it’s his second year in the Premier League but I’ve got no doubt that he’s going to become an outstanding player for us.
“The only way he’s going to become an outstanding player for us is if we keep exposing him, playing him and letting him learn from his mistakes.
“It’s part of the process for young players that you have to expect that it’s not going to be smooth but you know eventually you’re going to have a fantastic footballer.
“I’ve no doubt about that with Destiny. I’ve absolutely no doubt.
“We’re constantly working at his game, constantly working at areas for him to improve and the beauty of it is that he wants to and he embraces it.
“I thought after the goal he bounced back really well.”
