Tottenham drew 2-2 with Manchester United today as their depleted team once again rose to the occasion to get a result.
Spurs came from behind twice to snatch a point and on the whole, perhaps should have won the game after having most of the ball.
In the end, they settled for the point. And given the likes of Heung-Min Son were out and Dejan Kulusevski pulled out late due to illness, it was a good result.
Indeed, even more impressive was that more Spurs players had played through illness.

Speaking after the game, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou admitted that both Destiny Udogie and Oliver Skipp has both been ill as well, but played on through the sickness.
“Skippy was under the weather and so was Destiny. All year we’ve just got on with it. It was a big game, particularly away from home. Romero was outstanding as the skipper,” Postecoglou said.
In the end, Postecoglou will have been delighted with what his team showed and now with a small break until the next game, he’ll be hoping for more faces to be back.
Tottenham players show the spirit needed to succeed at Man United
Any team who goes to Old Trafford and dominates deserves a mention. Spurs were excellent today and rightfully came out of the game with something.
However, for the boss to admit there were more players actually feeling ill shows just what this current Spurs side is all about now.
Postecoglou has drilled something into the team and both Udogie and Skipp were excellent given the circumstances.
That sort of attitude and commitment is what Tottenham are going to need if they are ever to have any success in the Premier League.
Udogie, in particular, was superb down the left and really showed himself to be one of the top full-backs in the league right now. The Italian seems to be getting better, and he’ll have delighted his manager today.
As for Skipp, he comes in and does the job required with no fuss.
All in all, it was just what the Spurs boss wants to see.
