Ange Postecoglou certainly didn’t enjoy all of the performance he witnessed from his makeshift Tottenham Hotspur side against Wolves yesterday.
Spurs slumped to a late defeat in the midlands and those near the touchline could hear what Postecoglou thought of his sides’ showing in the first half.

According to football.london, Postecoglou could be heard repeatedly shouting the same message to his players early on.
Postecoglou was demanding his Tottenham team to ‘get up’ the pitch, repeatedly screaming the two words as Wolverhampton Wanderers pegged his side back.
It was certainly an unrecognisable Spurs side that took to the field – something that was expected.
Postecoglou lost the spine of his team in that chaotic night against Chelsea, but it still seemed that he expected more yesterday.
Eric Dier was criticised by Jamie O’Hara for his personal performance in the defeat, and few did receive any praise altogether.
Brennan Johnson’s performance was certainly a positive, even if he faded like many in a Spurs shirt after an exciting start.

Tottenham’s staff will now have a ton to ponder over the coming international break.
Few may have believed that such an unfortunate series of events could happen to one club in the space of a week.
Although Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie will return from their respective suspensions, Micky van de Ven and James Maddison are monumental losses.
Both have enabled Postecoglou to quickly implement his style successfully at Tottenham, and were sorely missed at Wolves.
Perhaps January now can’t come soon enough in North London for multiple reasons.
Both the names mentioned are scheduled to return from injury around then.
Moreover, Tottenham will also have the opportunity to provide further additions to Postecoglou’s squad.
Daniel Levy may well have already been targeting players to improve his manager’s options even prior to the chaos that has ensued.
And given all that has happened this week, the January window must now be an increasingly crucial one.
