Liverpool are not quite through to the semi-final yet but their 2-0 first-leg lead over FC Porto puts them in a commanding position.

If Liverpool progress, they face Ajax, Barcelona or the winners of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

After dumping Man United out of the cup, Suarez took to Twitter to post a message to his fans and celebrate progression to the semi-finals.

And his post has been picked up by several Liverpool fans, who have replied to his tweet anticipating a mouth-watering semi-final meet-up.

Suarez played 133 games for Liverpool, scoring an impressive 82 goals. Since his move to Barcelona, he has netted 175 times in five seasons.

Here are some tweets from Liverpool fans hoping for a reunion with Suarez in the next round.
