Liverpool came from behind to secure a crucial point at Arsenal this evening as they put a major dent in the Gunners’ title aspirations.

A late goal from Mohamed Salah – who had been quiet throughout – levelled things at The Emirates and ensured the Gunners are now five points behind Manchester City after just nine games.

Speaking on the game for Premier League Productions, former Aston Villa man Andy Townsend lauded the pass from Alexander-Arnold and labelled the goal ‘brilliant’.

“And he finally produces a proper ball, a ball that we expect from Trent. That was perfect. It released Darwin Nunez,” Townsend commented.

“Arsenal just got done with a ball in behind them, a great ball, a great comeback from Nunez. And that run from Mo Salah. Brilliant, brilliant goal.”
