Andreas Christensen is reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur amid doubts over his long-term future at Chelsea with his contract up at the end of the season.
Spurs fans will have plenty of excitement ahead of the first couple of transfer windows under Antonio Conte. Their recent results hint that they have plenty of work to do in the market. And the Italian is potentially the perfect man to oversee a lot of it.

And perhaps one of the players on his wishlist will prove to be Christensen. It was claimed by the Daily Star at the weekend that Tottenham have become the latest club to target the Dane. Manchester United and Manchester City are also admirers of the 25-year-old.
As things stand, the centre-back will become a free agent in the summer. However, it has been suggested more recently that he is closing in on signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

Obviously, there is plenty of scepticism amongst Spurs fans on social media. Many simply cannot see Christensen swapping Chelsea for Conte, even if he does end up with the freedom of being a free agent.

Others however, have insisted that it could prove to be a real coup. Christensen – who earns £80,000-a-week – has previously played superbly well under the Tottenham boss. And it is clear that Spurs need further quality at the back, particularly in the form of someone who is comfortable in a back three.
