Leeds United were recently linked with a move for Lazio defender Luiz Felipe, as well as the Italian side’s Belgian left-back Jordan Lukaku.
In fact, according to the report from Il Messaggero, Leeds United asked about five Lazio players, including star Serbian international Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The report claimed that through a trusted intermediary, namely Lorenzo Tonetti, Andrea Radrizzani had made contact with the Italian side regarding potential deals for several players.
The Brazilian defender was the player who came out of the report with the most likelihood of joining Leeds, with a reported £27 million price-tag on his head and a potential need at centre-back for Leeds.

However, Leeds fans can seemingly forget about this most recent link.
CalcioMercato has reached out to Tonetti, who works for Football Capital, a management company Radrizzani founded but left shortly before taking over at Leeds.
Whilst they carried no direct quotes from Tonetti, he apparently informed the Italian publication that his talks with Lazio sporting director Igli Tare were in no way connected to Leeds United or Luiz Felipe.
Instead, he was discussing the potential transfer of Catania talent Salvatore Simone Pino to Lazio. The 18-year-old centre-back is represented by Football Capital.
So it seems that Leeds were not in fact interested in Felipe and are indeed happy with Robin Koch, set for a medical over the weekend, being the replacement for Ben White at Elland Road.
This appears to be a transfer rumour that can be knocked on its head.
