Viktor Gyokeres is about to become a new Arsenal player, but he will not be their final signing of this window.

The Gunners were fairly quiet in June, but since the start of July, they have completed deals for multiple players.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera have all been signed, while Gyokeres has landed in London to complete his move.

Now, Andrea Berta has set his sights on his next big target.

Andrea Berta eyes a swap deal to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze is the dream target for many Arsenal fans.

The Gunners can be very happy with the players they have signed already, and Viktor Gyokeres will fill the biggest void in the squad right after he puts pen to paper.

Arsenal cannot complain if they don’t sign anyone else, but the Independent have revealed that Berta wants to swiftly complete a move for Eze now.

The report claims that the Gunners want to sign the ‘unplayable‘ England international in a deal that would see them pay £60 million in three equal instalments.

However, there is also a possibility of a player-plus-cash swap deal.

It has been revealed that Reiss Nelson could be included as part of the deal by Arsenal when they table their bid to sign Eze.

The report adds that people close to the Crystal Palace star are ‘confident’ that this deal will be completed ‘in the next few weeks’.

This comes after TBR Football exclusively revealed that Eze has told his friends that he is joining Arsenal before the window shuts.

What Arsenal want to do before they sign Eberechi Eze

All of Arsenal’s focus in this window so far has been on new signings.

Berta deserves enormous praise for securing all the deals he has done up until now, and signing Eze on top of it will make this a 10/10 window for the Gunners.

However, before that happens, the report claims that Arsenal are hoping to sell a few of their players.

Sales are very important this summer, but it has been confirmed that signing Eze is not contingent on departures, which is good news.

Nelson is one of the players who is expected to be sold. Including him in the deal to sign Eze would be a genius move if Berta can pull it off.
