Arsenal have just submitted a new bid for a Premier League player who their supporters believe is ‘underrated’.
Andrea Berta is now being praised by supporters for the Gunners’ latest move in the transfer window as he continues to reshape Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The North London club came up just short in both the Premier League and Champions League last term, and they will be keen to ensure that this time they get over the line.
They have now started to accelerate their transfer business and whilst it might not be for one of their top targets, fans think they’re about to do some ‘excellent’ business.
Arsenal think Christian Norgaard would be a great Thomas Partey replacement
Arsenal fans are delighted at the news that the North London club could be about to sign Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard.

The arrival of the Danish international would surely spell the end for Thomas Partey in the capital, given his contract situation.
As per reports, Arsenal have bid for Norgaard with Berta making a £9 million offer for the 31-year-old.
The Brentford captain is believed to be keen to make the switch across London, despite only just renewing his contract with the Bees.
Losing Norgaard would be a hammer blow for the West London club, who have already seen Thomas Frank leave for Spurs and Bryan Mbeumo close to joining Man United.
Following the news of the Gunners’ bid, supporters have taken to X to share their thoughts on the offer and the possible departure of Partey.
One fan said: “£9m and presumably far lower wages than Partey, for a younger player with a far better injury record and an incredibly underrated all-round game, Norgaard would be excellent business.”
Another added: “Arsenal signing Christian Norgaard for less than £9M is smart business. It’s clear he will be the Thomas Partey replacement. Despite his age, he still has plenty to give.”
There was further praise for the potential deal: “Partey is 32 and wanted an increase on his £200k-per-week wages. I’m not going to get upset that Norgaard is 31 and probably will earn around £60k-per-week.”
Finally, another fan claimed: “We need to replace Partey, and if we can do that with a player who is proven in the Premier League, very underrated, and cheap, why are you moaning? £9m for Norgaard and Kepa is superb business and will allow us to do what we need to do in the forward areas.”
Tottenham could hijack Arsenal’s Christian Norgaard move
Arsenal are not the only club that wants Norgaard however, as Tottenham Hotspur also hold a genuine interest in signing the midfielder.
TBR Football understands that Thomas Frank has asked to sign Norgaard, with the Lilywhites keen to bring in a holding midfielder.
The 51-year-old believes that his former Brentford captain could be the perfect option for his squad in N17, and he has recommended him to the Spurs hierarchy.
Crucially, Spurs are also ready to make an offer for Norgaard and this could potentially trigger a tug of war between the two bitter rivals.
Everton and AS Roma are also monitoring the situation, but both clubs will find it tough to compete with the two Champions League clubs.
