Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw have picked up the first two injuries of pre-season. Leeds United’s official website has given an update on the pair with some mixed news.
Dallas is fit for this Saturday’s friendly against Western Sydney Wanderers. The 28-year-old went down after being caught by Anthony Martial’s elbow in the game against Manchester United.
After receiving treatment by the side of the pitch, Dallas was substituted with Bryce Hosannah taking his place. There were initial fears that Dallas had suffered a concussion.

However, Leeds have confirmed that the Northern Ireland international has not suffered a concussion despite having a cut above his right eye. He will be eligible to play on Saturday.
Forshaw, however, is a doubt for this weekend. The injury-prone 27-year-old has picked up another knock after a meaty challenge from Ashley Young.
Leeds will run scans on Forshaw and he will face a late fitness test to see if he is ready to play. It could be yet another frustrating setback for the Whites’ threadbare squad. Here are some tweets capturing the reaction of Leeds fans after the latest injury update.
