17th – Swansea – 19 points

Swansea will be glad to see the back of 2015 as they sit 2 points clear of the relegation zone. A year that began so brightly with an 8th placed finish and their highest Premier League points total ended with the club in a relegation fight and Garry Monk being handed his P45 by Huw Jenkins. The Swans have struggled for goals this season; after an excellent start with 4 in 4, Bafatembi Gomis has notched just one goal since. Gomis has been cited by many as a disruptive influence in a previously tight-knit dressing room having pined for the exit in each of the last two transfer windows and it would be no surprise to see the Frenchman replaced this January. Andre Ayew has been a bright spark in an otherwise dreary season with 6 goals but such reliance on a midfielder in a relegation battle doesn’t bode well. Another striker is a necessity if the Swans are to pull away from the mire while the managerial situation is still yet to be resolved. January is as important for Swansea as any in the bottom 6.
