Leeds United made the controversial decision to part company with Marcelo Bielsa last week.
The Whites sacked the 66-year-old following a poor run of form which included several heavy losses.
On Saturday, Leeds fell to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham at Elland Road.

It marked the fifth Premier League game in a row where the Whites have conceded three or more goals in one match.
Leeds also brought in a replacement almost immediately, with Jesse Marsch taking the Elland Road reins.
The 48-year-old American has signed a contract at Leeds which takes him to 2025.
Marsch began his coaching career in the United States.
After a stint as USMNT assistant manager, he went on to coach MLS teams Montreal Impact and New York Red Bulls.
In 2019, Marsch moved overseas to Red Bull Salzburg, and managed the Austrian giants until last summer.
He began the current season in charge of RB Leipzig, but mutually parted ways with the Bundesliga club in December.
Although Marsch’s lack of Premier League experience and departure from his last club may have concerned some fans, some of his former players have sung his praises.
“He is an amazing guy”
Borussia Dortmund and Norway star Erling Braut Haaland is especially fond of his former manager.
“Jesse and I had a great relationship,” the 21-year-old told CBS Sports in November 2020.
“We still talk on the phone sometimes.

“He was an amazing manager for me, and we had some great memories together.
“I am lucky to have gotten to know him as a coach, but also as a person.
“He was very good with me. As you saw, I was very happy on and off the pitch in Salzburg.
“Even though it was just six months, it was a good time. He is an amazing guy.”
Haaland was sensational at Salzburg, registering 29 goals and seven assists in just 27 games.
And since joining Dortmund, he’s progressed to simply staggering levels.
In 79 BVB games, he has 80 goals and 21 assists, while for Norway, he has 12 goals from 15 caps.
Marsch played a big role in helping Haaland becoming the world’s seventh-best player (The Guardian).
Now, the coach has a different challenge on board, but it looks as though Leeds are in great hands.
