Lots of Newcastle United fans are still reeling from the events of the summer.
After lengthy talks, Rafa Benitez left the Magpies and the hate for owner Mike Ashley reached an all-time high.

Steve Bruce replaced the Spaniard at St. James Park and so far, it’s been a largely disappointing start – although the 1-0 weekend victory over Manchester United has now elevated the club out of the relegation zone in time for the international break.
A handful of new faces came through the door along with Bruce, and it’s fair to say it’s all been a bit underwhelming – but one signing has given a very promising account of himself and looks like he could become a real favourite at the club.
TBR’s view
Full-back Jetro Willems joined the club on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt to a very small amount of fanfare.
The Dutchman – who does have a option to buy clause (Chronicle) – may not have raised any eyebrows at the time of his arrival, but he’s proven to be the club’s best acquisition so far.
He’s settled in relatively quickly after some slight injury problems, but has now made the left full-back position his own after some vibrant attacking displays.

Willems has shown a great aptitude for getting forward and crossing the ball whenever he can.
His attack-minded nature has seen him contribute a goal (against Liverpool) and an assist (on Sunday against Manchester United), and he has definitely got the potential to become a popular figure with the crowd based off what he’s shown so far.
With Allan Saint-Maximin in front of him, he could do his bit to really light up what’s been a gloomy St. James’ Park so far.
