Thomas Partey has told Stadium Astro that it’s ‘amazing’ to have Martin Odegaard alongside him at Arsenal.
The Norwegian midfielder arrived at the Emirates Stadium in January on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.
He has been introduced as a substitute in two games so far as he adapts to life in the Premier League.
Partey was signed for £45 million from Atletico Madrid in the summer and played against Odegaard in La Liga.

Now the pair are teammates at the Emirates Stadium and the 27-year-old is excited to have him in North London.
He told Stadium Astro: “He’s difficult when you play against him. I remember when we played against him he’s so intelligent, he’s always quick on the ball and doesn’t give you a chance to take it from him.
“It’s amazing to have him here. I hope he has a great season here and he helps us achieve what we want to achieve.”
With the games coming thick and fast, Odegaard might not be too far away from a starting berth.
The Gunners have now lost their last two games in the Premier League and changes could be required.
TBR View: Odegaard and Partey are steps in the right direction
Partey was a superb addition to the Arsenal ranks in the summer and he’s the type of player that has been needed for a while.
Now, with creativity proving a real struggle, Mikel Arteta has turned to the addition of Odegaard to offer a spark.

After settling for ordinary for plenty of years, Partey and the Norwegian wonderkid represent positive recruitment steps.
The £85,000-a-week player scored seven goals and registered nine assists for Real Sociedad in La Liga last season.
He is capable of the brilliance in attack that Arsenal have been lacking and he could prove to be a really strong addition.
