‘Amazing news’: Arsenal fans pleased to hear William Saliba is staying put

Arsenal fans have been celebrating reports over the last 24 hours which have suggested William Saliba will be given his chance with the club.

The Gunners have seen little of Saliba ever since he signed in a £27m deal.

Saliba has spent time away from the club. Despite coming back last summer from a loan spell, he didn’t impress Mikel Arteta enough, who promptly sent him back out, this time to Nice.

However, he has impressed over in Ligue 1 this term. And it appears now that the Gunners boss is prepared to give Saliba a chance this summer.

Saliba has a chance to seize his moment, too. David Luiz is on his way out of the club, while Gabriel Magalhaes hasn’t exaclty lit up The Emirates in his first season at the club.
