Pedro Neto is set to be one of the biggest movers come the summer window with plenty of clubs looking at the Wolves attacker – and Gary O’Neil’s need a replacement. Newcastle could help them.
Neto, 24, has endured a few injuries this season but he’s still managed to have a hand in 14 goals in 24 games for Wolves. Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are also interested in the Portugal international.
Rated at £80m, Wolves will have money to spend to bring in a replacement for the winger – if indeed, they do cash in. A couple of signings could be made with that cash. Miguel Almiron should be looked at.
The 30-year-old remains a key player at Newcastle after almost leaving Eddie Howe’s side in January, in a £26m move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab. A player that Bruno Guimaraes described as “amazing”.

Eddie Howe’s Miguel Almiron plan at Newcastle this summer
New reports this week state that 50-time Paraguay star Almiron’s future remains unclear despite having a deal on Tyneside until the summer of 2026. Eddie Howe is ready to cash in on the South American.
Neto and Almiron are both renowned for their flair, their ability to dribble with the ball at pace, and with the end product – of which is proven in the Premier League. Wolves need a replacement ready to shine.
A player proven in England’s top tier and Almiron is certainly that. Yes, he is now in his thirties, but he is the kind of player that has natural fitness in abundance. He is likely to be available for a cheap-ish price.
If Wolves do cash in on Neto – which looks likely come the summer – then O’Neil’s side have got to look at a move for Almiron with Newcastle and Howe ready to sell the Paraguayan at the end of the season.
