The 25-year-old has helped the Gunners climb to the top of the league at this early stage of the season.

He looks incredibly settled in his new environment too, and has slotted straight into Mikel Arteta’s team.

Jesus has been one of the signings of the summer, with TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor saying he’s been a better addition than Erling Haaland.

The Arsenal forward is clearly enjoying his time at The Emirates, and Ferdinand loves how happy Jesus looks on the pitch.

Ferdinand: ‘You are always smiling’

The £45m Arsenal man spoke to Ferdinand for BT Sport, and the former England defender said: “That’s one of the things I love about you, you are always smiling.”

Ferdinand called Jesus the ‘main man’ at Arsenal now, and it’s easy to see why.

Jesus has started every league game this season, and is averaging a goal contribution a game for his new club.

Ferdinand has been a big fan of Jesus’ contribution already this season.

The former England defender believes Jesus is a ‘level up’ on what Arsenal had before.

One of Jesus’ main target for the next month will be the World Cup, after being left out of Brazil’s last squad.

Tim Vickery said it was ‘mystifying’ he wasn’t called up, but Tite has confirmed he’s in the running to go to Qatar.

In the meantime, the 25-year-old will have to keep enjoying his football at Arsenal.

Ferdinand has loved seeing how happy Jesus has been this season, if results continue to be positive, it’ll be hard to wipe the smile off his face.
