Leandro Trossard has accused William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes of always being late at Arsenal.

Speaking to Fubo, the Belgian was asked a number of questions about his Arsenal teammates, and he was asked which players in the squad always seem to be late.

Trossard was quick to answer, and he says that both Saliba and Gabriel have a tendency to be late to things.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes can often be late.

Trossard spoke about the Brazilian and the £27m man.

“Who is always late? It doesn’t specifically have to be to training, maybe just going out,” Trossard said.

“Our two centre-backs are probably one of them, William Saliba or Gabriel,” Trossard said.

Be careful

While this all sounds to be a bit of fun between Trossard and his two teammates, the reality is that Gabriel and Saliba need to be careful with this.

If their timekeeping issues start to affect team training or team meetings, Mikel Arteta won’t cut them any slack.

Let’s not forget, Arteta was quick to ostracise Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the squad for very similar reasons.

Of course, we’re not suggesting that is going to happen to either Gabriel or Saliba, but if their timekeeping does become more of an issue, the manager won’t take kindly to that, that’s for sure.

Luckily, it doesn’t sound as though this is a huge problem, and it may be more of a social thing than a professional issue, but being punctual is clearly something that Mikel Arteta really values, so every single Arsenal player should make sure that they make an effort to be on time.
