Plenty of Leeds United under-23s stars have lauded Niall Huggins after the 20-year-old posted a picture on Instagram showing himself on international duty – with Cody Drameh seemingly comparing the youngster to Alphonso Davies.

Huggins is back with the Wales under-21 squad for their upcoming friendly with the Republic of Ireland.

The 20-year-old has one cap at that level, so will be keen to double that tally in what has already been an incredibly notable season for him.

Huggins made his first-team debut in Leeds’s clash with Arsenal last month. And while the game ended in defeat, the youngster did not look out of place at all at the Emirates.

Marcelo Bielsa has since gone on to laud Huggins’s versatility, highlighting at least six positions he is able to feature in (via Leeds Live).

His form has seen him rewarded with a recall by his national team. And he has now posted a photo of himself working with the Welsh squad…

It is clear how highly his teammates think of Huggins. Several replied with messages of support for him.

But perhaps it was Drameh who posted the most notable comment, with the right-back comparing the utility man to one of Bayern Munich’s most exciting prospects…
