Ally McCoist has tipped Lewis Miley to have a massive future after the teenager signed a new long-term contract with Newcastle United.
The 17-year-old midfielder has been one of the breakout players of the Premier League season, with Miley becoming Newcastle’s youngest-ever debutant as well as the Magpies’ youngest-ever assist maker.
Making 18 senior appearances in all competitions, Newcastle’s injury crisis this season has seen Miley take on some of the biggest and best players Europe has to offer via the UEFA Champions League.

And speaking on TalkSport, McCoist has lauded the teenager’s impact at Newcastle this season, with the Scottish pundit clearly a massive fan of the 17-year-old prospect.
Indeed, Miley has a huge future at Newcastle having now signed a new contract with the Toon, and many would expect the midfielder to continue his development into a potential superstar in the years to come.
McCoist said: “I think he’s been a breath of fresh air, I’ve really enjoyed his performances. I’ve seen him a few times and he just looks as though he’s got a tremendous future ahead of him.”
Lewis Miley can star in Newcastle’s midfield for the next ten years

Miley’s breakthrough has been one of the few bright spots for Newcastle this season, with the teenager establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting talents.
And if Eddie Howe can continue to trust Miley, there’s not telling how far the midfielder can go with the Toon, with the 17-year-old starlet’s potential seemingly unlimited.
Indeed, 14 starts in all competitions this season against the likes of PSG, Manchester City and AC Milan is one heck of an achievement for Miley.
And Newcastle will be hopeful that the midfielder can continue his development at his current pace, with Miley on course to star for the Toon for the next decade.
