Pundit Ally McCoist has now been discussing a huge difference he’s seen at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium recently.
Although Arsenal enjoyed a very strong season under Mikel Arteta last time out, it was surprisingly their home form that slightly underwhelmed at times.

Arteta’s side had improved a lot on the road, reducing the amount of goals they were conceding whilst delivering really disciplined displays.
However, when the focus switched to a more creative and dominant approach at home, Arsenal often left themselves exposed to conceding silly goals.
And that’s clearly something Arteta has been trying to address this season, as data proves.
According to Footystats, Arsenal’s win percentage at home this season is now up to 79%, compared to last season’s 74%.
Interestingly the side’s percentage away from home is very similar, 64% this season and 63% last year.
And whilst these are very small margins, they do prove to be the difference makers when trying to win a league title.
The Emirates has definitely become a venue where it feels almost inevitable that Arsenal will find a way to win, which leads straight into Ally McCoist’s recent comments.
Ally McCoist says Arsenal fans have completely changed the feel of the Emirates
The pundit was speaking on talkSPORT this morning and pointed out the huge difference in atmosphere at the Emirates these days.
Speaking with John Hartson, McCoist said Arsenal fans now had the Emirates ‘rocking’, something that’s changed a lot in the last few years.

He stated: “The difference within the stadium, the Emirates, over the last 18 months to two years is absolute night and day. The place is rocking.”
Hartson replied: “Yeah, and when they get behind them, the Emirates is a 60,000 seater bowl. There’s no gaps. And they do really, really make some noise there.”
Of course, it can’t be a complete coincidence that Arsenal have been able to continually improve their home record whilst this support has exponentially improved too.
Mikel Arteta was calling for the fans to be loud before the recent tie against FC Porto, and they ultimately did prove a real help in the penalty shoot-out.
It’s certainly a good time to be an Arsenal fan, and everyone associated with the club will be a mix of excitement and nerves ahead of Sunday.
That being said, John Hartson has just predicted who will win the big game.
