Ally McCoist believes that Rangers might need to bring in a new left-back before the transfer window shuts in Scotland.
Rangers have strengthened all over the pitch this summer but left-back has been a problem area for some time.
Borna Barisic fell foul of Steven Gerrard toward the end of last season, Jon Flanagan has struggled for consistency at Ibrox whilst Andy Halliday has been asked to play the role on occasions.

Former Ibrox boss McCoist, as reported by the Scottish Sun, believes that this is the area Rangers should strengthen in the remaining days of the transfer window.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that’s the position that I would (strengthen).
“I am not convinced by Flanagan.
“I don’t know what has happened with Barisic. When he first came, I thought, he is a player, he looked comfortable, good use of the ball, but he seems to have gone back for me.”
TBR’s View
Rangers have started the new campaign with a bang but left-back does still look like a potential problem area.
Flanagan has enjoyed a decent start whilst Barisisc appears to have smoothed over any tension it is still the area of the team where Rangers do look weakest.
Perhaps, much like Old Firm rivals Celtic, Rangers should be in the market for a new left-back before the end of the transfer window if they are to mount a serious title challenge this season.
