'All does not seem well': Chris Sutton predicts result of Arsenal v Leicester clash

Arsenal and Leicester City lock horns in their second game of the new Premier League season on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will hope to make it two wins in a row in their first league game at the Emirates Stadium this term.

Meanwhile, the Foxes will be eager to make amends for their disappointing draw last time out.

Arsenal ran out 2-0 winners at Crystal Palace last Friday night in a solid display for Mikel Arteta’s side.

As for Leicester, they threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at home to Brentford on Sunday.

Just three places separated the Gunners and the Foxes in the final table last season.

However, Arsenal finished a massive 17 points ahead of Leicester, and this season, the Gunners are looking stronger.

While the Gunners have made some great additions to their squad, Leicester have only just made their first summer signing.

Brendan Rodgers’ charges also lost iconic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to Nice.

“I don’t want to jump on that bandwagon”

Chris Sutton, writing on BBC Sport, reckons the Gunners will sneak a 2-1 win against Leicester.

“All does not seem well at Leicester, who have still not made any signings this summer,” said the pundit, prior to Alex Smithies’ arrival.

“They have still got some very good players but I get the sense Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is not entirely happy with the situation.

“And, on the pitch, they blew a two-goal lead against Brentford last week.

“In contrast, everything seems rosy at Arsenal at the moment. Their fans are getting very excited about what they could do this season.

“I don’t want to jump on that bandwagon because I think their bubble will eventually burst a little bit.

“But I like what Gabriel Jesus has brought to their attack and, at home, I think they should edge this one.”
