Alisson Becker knows just how lucky he is to play in this Liverpool team.
The Brazilian has won it all with the Reds, and he seemingly wouldn’t change a thing about this team at the moment.
Indeed, speaking to TV2 Sport on TikTok, the goalkeeper was asked which player from another Champions League club he’d most like to take at Liverpool.
Interestingly, Alisson said that he wouldn’t change any of his players at the moment, claiming that he wouldn’t even say that he’d have Erling Haaland at Liverpool.
Alisson wouldn’t change anything at Liverpool.
The goalkeeper discussed the idea of making a signing for Liverpool from a Champions League rival.
“If you could choose one player from another team in the Champions League to play with you at Liverpool who would that be?” Alisson was asked.
“Oh, that’s a hard one. Maybe they would be on the bench. I have a really good team and I trust my players. I would not change any of my players,” Alisson said.
“I think they wanted you to say Erling Haaland,” Alisson was asked.
“Yeah, but I’m not going to say that,” Alisson said.

Liverpool need a defensive midfielder
Of course, this is a very polished answer from Alisson as he tries to avoid stirring up headlines, but the reality is that Liverpool do need a new defensive midfield player.
The Reds still don’t have a true recognised number six. Ryan Gravenberch has been brilliant in that role so far this season, but he can still sometimes be caught out of position.
Alisson was asked about taking someone like Haaland at Liverpool, but perhaps it would’ve made more sense for the goalkeeper to be asked about a player like Rodri or even Declan Rice.
Alisson believes this Liverpool team can’t be improved at the moment, but with a proper defensive midfield player, this team would be the complete package.
