Spurs are facing a big decision this summer over the future of young goalkeeper, Alfie Whiteman, who had emerged under Jose Mourinho.
The 22-year-old stopper was given his chance in Europe, replacing Joe Hart in the Europa League to get his debut. Whiteman is said to be a huge Spurs fan and is highly-rated in North London.
And now, Football.London claim that Nuno Santo will trust the judgement of his goalkeeping coach, Rui Barbosa, when it comes to Whiteman.

It’s claimed that a decision will need to be made quickly. Joe Hart and Hugo Lloris remain the first and second-choice at the club. Whiteman, meanwhile, is in a battle with fellow youngster Brandon Austin.
Both are vying to step into the void left by Paulo Gazzaniga this summer.
Whiteman was part of a Jose Mourinho team that featured a host of young players in the Europa League. Alongside the likes of Dane Scarlett and Harvey White, Whiteman got his first taste of action against Ludogrets.
Turning point
Whiteman finds himself in a bit of a tricky spot this summer. Yes, he can be patient and wait for chances. But on the reverse of that, he is 22 now and really needs to play.
We’ve seen with England that goalkeepers like Aaron Ramsdale and Dean Henderson are only 23 and in the main squad. Whiteman will be looking at those two and thinking he needs to crack on.
A loan move might be best for him here. Sitting on the bench as third choice is never ideal. First-team football, on the other hand, is ideal.
