Alexandre Lacazette has played down suggestions that he could potentially be on the way out of Arsenal in the summer, in comments reported by the Daily Mail.
The Times reported on Wednesday that Lacazette has an understanding in place with the Gunners that he will be allowed to leave the Emirates at the end of the season should Mikel Arteta’s men miss out on Champions League qualification.

But the Frenchman has hit back at the speculation that he could consider leaving this summer.
“I don’t know about this,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“I have a contract with the club, there is no point for me to leave, everyone is happy with me at the club.”
It would be a blow for Arsenal to lose Lacazette this summer. He has scored 33 Premier League goals during his time with the Gunners. And he has also reached double figures for assists.
He appears to have turned a corner again after a recent blip. Before this month’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United, he had gone almost two months without a goal.
But he now has two goals and one assist in his last two appearances – despite playing just five minutes of the clash with the Magpies.
However, perhaps Arsenal may have their own decision to make. The Times’ report notes that he has two years left on his contract, so they may be wary of letting his deal run down much further.
That could perhaps inspire the two sides to try and agree a contract extension. Or it may perhaps leave the Gunners having to consider whether they would be open to offers for the forward during the coming windows.
