Alexandre Lacazette would surely love to see Joe Willock back playing for Arsenal next season, as the striker lauded the Newcastle United loanee on Instagram following the final day of the season.
Few could have anticipated when Willock bagged a late equaliser against Spurs at the start of April that it would spark the most incredible scoring run for the 21-year-old.

But he has gone on to score in his final seven appearances of the campaign, with the final strike coming on Sunday as Steve Bruce’s side beat Fulham.
He ends his loan spell with eight goals in just 14 appearances for the Magpies. Remarkably, only three Arsenal teammates scored more league goals during the entirety of the campaign.

His form has left Mikel Arteta with plenty to ponder. It would be a huge shock if Newcastle did not make a bid to keep Willock, either on loan or permanently.
But Arsenal surely cannot now allow Willock to leave. He has proved emphatically that he can make a huge impact at the highest level.
And it would be little surprise if several players were hoping to see Willock back at the Emirates next season.
Following the youngster’s latest display, he took to Instagram to pay tribute to the Newcastle supporters. And amongst those to reply was Lacazette, with the Frenchman probably summing up how many Arsenal fans feel…
