The agent of Celtic striker target Albian Ajeti has suggested there have been no major developments in a potential move to Parkhead for the Swiss striker.
Celtic have recently been linked with a move for the West Ham talent, who struggled in his debut season on UK shores.
The Scottish Sun recently reported that Celtic have a chance of signing Ajeti on loan but that the youngster is back in Switzerland mulling over his next move. Sky Sports has also reported that Celtic boss Neil Lennon has held further talks with Ajeti’s representatives over the deal, which could be made permanent for £5 million if successful.

However, his agent Arber Sakiri has made it clear there has been no significant progress.
“For the moment, there is nothing to say,” Sakiri told the Daily Record. “He is still a player of West Ham. It is normal that we have some calls here and some calls there and people are talking about this.
“It is also normal that people are talking about something and some interest here or there, maybe that’s true. From our side, there is nothing to say.”
Celtic are looking for extra firepower this summer after Leigh Griffiths struggle to maintain fitness during lockdown and with continuing speculation over the future of Odsonne Edouard.
Ajeti is seen as a potentially impressive signing and, despite his struggles at West Ham, the 23-year-old did score 21 goals the previous season with FC Basel.
But for now it seems that there has not been any fresh progress in the race to sign the striker. Celtic fans may have to wait a little while longer before they can celebrate this piece of recruitment.
