Ange Postecoglou watched his Tottenham Hotspur side make it four wins from four in pre-season against a K League XI on Wednesday.

Tottenham won the match 4-3 against their new signing Yang Min-hyeok, who impressed when he received the ball at his feet.

Dejan Kulusevski was the player to open the scoring for Postecoglou, before captain Son Heung-min delivered a reminder of his rich talent with an impressive hat-trick in Seoul.

During the match, Postecoglou made three changes at half-time and then a further eight changes in the second half.

Interestingly, Emerson Royal started the game for Spurs, a player who is close to leaving the club for the Serie A.

TBR Football recently shared that Tottenham had agreed a deal with AC Milan to sell Emerson, so it remains to be seen whether there have since been any complications.

That being said, it wasn’t Emerson who underwhelmed in his 76 minutes, the Brazilian delivered a on-par showing in Seoul.

Rather it was Oliver Skipp who failed to impress in the second half.

Journalist Alasdair Gold shared his ratings for all 22 players who played in the game over on football.london during and after the game.

And although the likes of Son and Kulusevski were handed a 9/10 for their minutes, deservedly so, Skipp was handed a 4/10 for his efforts.

Skipp entered the game as a central midfielder, his most familiar role, but was then moved into defence – a switch that had previously been reserved for Archie Gray.

When sharing his second half ratings, Gold said that Skipp was at fault for one of the three goals Spurs conceded, albeit to then be on the end of a ‘nasty’ tackle.

Gold shared: “Really struggled at times and was beaten to the ball for the first goal and switched to centre-back before taking a nasty kick to the knee.”

It remains to be seen what Tottenham have planned for 23-year-old Skipp this season who made 24 appearances for Postecoglou last term.

The £40k-a-week midfielder is important for Spurs from a home-grown registration point of view, but is perhaps now falling down the pecking order for significant minutes.
