There’s been a lot of change at Tottenham over the past 12 months.
Spurs have a new manager in place, a new Sporting Director and a new look squad after the departure of Harry Kane.
There’s been a lot of change at Spurs, and, by the sounds of it, there’s also been a change of mentality behind the scenes.
Indeed, according to Alasdair Gold, speaking on the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast, people inside Tottenham are now talking about the club in an entirely different way.

People within Tottenham are more positive
Gold shared what he’s noticed about the attitude from his sources within Tottenham recently.
“The foundations have been put in there, especially behind the scenes. When I talk to people behind the scenes there’s such a more positive outlook.
“People in the first-team setup, the academy, there’s a real joined-up thinking now and everyone seems to just have this one direction to go in.”
Tottenham are on the up
Tottenham’s form over the past three months has been poor, there’s no getting away from that.
However, when you consider the bigger picture, you have to conclude that Spurs are on the up.
Indeed, they have an exciting manager who the fans are seemingly all behind, they have so many young players just waiting to flourish and due to the frugality of previous transfer windows, they’re in a great position to spend this summer and strengthen their squad.
Spurs are a team on the up, there’s no doubt about it, and it seems as though people within the club realise that things are looking more positive for the north London outfit at the moment.
It may not be too long before Tottenham are challenging for major honours under Ange Postecoglou as this young group continues to grow and quality continues to be added to the squad.
