Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero is set for up to four weeks on the sidelines, according to football.london‘s Alasdair Gold.
The Spurs defender reportedly sustained a muscular injury during Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw at Chelsea.
Romero started and completed the match, during which he was involved in an incident with Marc Cucurella.

Thomas Tuchel complained about the Tottenham centre-back pulling Cucurella’s hair ahead of Harry Kane’s 96th-minute equaliser.
VAR decided the incident did not constitute violent play and, from the following corner, Tottenham found their late leveller.
Romero has played every minute of Spurs’ opening two Premier League games.
However, he may now miss Tottenham’s return to Champions League action and potentially their Premier League game at Manchester City.
Gold also predicted that Antonio Conte is ‘likely’ to turn to Davinson Sanchez as a replacement for Romero in the coming weeks.
The £42million defender deputised for Romero in the final three matches of last season, and helped Spurs clinch fourth place.
Sanchez was an unused substitute in both of Tottenham’s Premier League games so far.

Last season, the £65,000-a-week ace made 23 league appearances, plus a further nine in the cups.
Sanchez has made 181 appearances for Tottenham overall, since his move from Ajax in 2017.
Spurs are next in action on Saturday.
Conte’s charges host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 12:30pm kickoff.
