Arsenal won out this weekend in a bit of a fiery encounter with Burnley at Turf Moor, as a goal from Martin Odegaard proved enough for the Gunners.
It was a second successive win for the Arsenal. It followed on from their scrappy 1-0 win over Norwich City the week prior, and has given Mikel Arteta’s side some real impetus for now.
Solid
Key to this newfound impetus and solidarity in defence has been the inclusion of summer signing, Aaron Ramsdale. The former Sheffield United man has kept two clean-sheets in a row for the Gunners in the Premier League.

Indeed, he very much looks like he is the number one now ahead of Bernd Leno at the club. Arsenal fans, too, seem to be really taking to Ramsdale.
Further enhancing that reputation with the fans was the footage and imagery over the weekend of Ramsdale sticking up for his teammate, Kieran Tierney.
And with the image doing the rounds on Twitter, former Gunners striker Alan Smith was on hand to give his seal of approval to Ramsdale’s actions.
TBR’s View: Ramsdale has turned things around already
Most Arsenal fans would admit they weren’t sold on the idea of signing Aaron Ramsdale in the summer. But now, they are eating their words.
Ramsdale seems to have galvanised the club and has shown a spirit and togetherness with his new teammates. That is, for Mikel Arteta anyway, a massive bonus.
Bernd Leno now faces a huge uphill task in regaining his number one jersey at the club. Ramsdale, meanwhile, deserves plenty of credit.
