Everton forward Richarlison “will have impressed” new Toffees boss Rafa Benitez on Saturday, according to Alan Shearer.
The new Goodison Park manager got his tenure off to a winning start in the Premier League.
Everton came from behind to run out 3-1 winners over Southampton on Merseyside.

Although the Toffees conceded first, they rallied round in the second half.
Richarlison cancelled Adam Armstrong’s opener out in the 47th minute.
It was a springboard for an Everton victory as Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck in the 76th and 81st minute.
As well as scoring the Toffees’ first, Richarlison provided a superb cross for Calvert-Lewin to make it three.

Everton ace delivers great “all-round performance”
Shearer named Richarlison in his Premier League Team of the Week and lauded the 24-year-old’s performance.
“The Brazilian’s goal, assist and all-round performance will have impressed new manager Rafa Benitez, I am sure,” he wrote.
Richarlison has made 120 competitive appearances for Everton since joining in 2018, registering 43 goals and 10 assists.
He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, where former Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti is now plying his trade.
“I like him, he’s a great player, but I’m not talking about players who are at other clubs,” Le10 Sport quotes the Italian as saying last week.
Everton face Leeds United in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.
