Leeds United attacking midfielder, Tyler Roberts, has been selected by Alan Shearer in his team of the week, following his good performance against Chelsea.
Roberts was given the nod by Marelo Bielsa and went close to scoring one more than one occasion. He had one effort ruled out for a narrow offside for Patrick Bamford, before hitting the bar with a wonderful effort of his own.

Often overlooked this season, Roberts seems to be getting a bit more of a go in recent weeks at Leeds. And against Chelsea, he did his utmost to try and cement his place in the first XI.
And Shearer, selecting his Totw for the official Premier League website, was impressed with Roberts’ all round display against the Blues.
“Gave Leeds United an attacking option from midfield and was a constant thorn in Chelsea’s side,” Shearer said, justifying his selection of Roberts in his XI.
Roberts has made 17 PL appearances this season but has started the last five, completing the full 90 minutes in two of those outings.
TBR View: Roberts growing in confidence but goals need to come
It’s great for Leeds fans to be seeing Roberts get a run in the side. He can be a top player on his day and plays the number ten role well, running into the box from deep to good effect.
However, he has yet to score this season, something which will worry both him and the Leeds coaching staff. Of course, he needs a bit of luck. But for a few inches, he’d have got his opening goal at the weekend.
So while his Chelsea display deserves credit, Roberts will be hoping for even more in the coming months.
