Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been named in Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week for his efforts at the weekend.
Spurs ran out 3-0 winners over Leeds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, with Jose Mourinho once again getting the better of Marcelo Bielsa.
Kane and Son Heung-min once again made headlines thanks to their goal contributions and link-up play, which helped Spurs go back into the Premier League’s top four.

The England captain opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 29th minute after Ezgjan Alioski brought Steven Bergwijn down in the box.
Kane then turned provider with a cross from the right which Son swept in at the near post for his 100th Spurs goal just before the break.
And the South Korea star played a big role in Tottenham’s third, his corner met by Toby Alderweireld’s header and carried over the goalline by Leeds keeper Illan Meslier.
Despite Son’s superb performance and milestone achievement, there was only room for one Spurs player in Shearer’s XI, with Kane named alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Danny Ings in a front three.
“Outstanding again with his goal and assist,” Shearer wrote on the Premier League website. “His low cross for Son Heung-min’s goal was inch-perfect.”
Spurs are next in action on Tuesday night, with Brentford visiting the North Londoners for their League Cup semi-final.
