Alan Shearer says Spurs have an 'absolutely magnificent' talent in their ranks, truly 'outstanding'
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been described by Premier League legend Alan Shearer as an “absolutely magnificent” talent.
The 27-year-old has been nothing short of sensational for Spurs and England over the years.
He has become just the third player in Premier League history to claim the Golden Boot and finish with the most assists in the same season.
Kane scored his 23rd goal of the season in Sunday’s Premier League finale against Leicester, as well as claiming 14 assists in the top flight.
The England captain’s efforts for his club have seen him win a spot in Shearer’s Premier League Team of the Season.
“The number of goals and assists is outstanding,” wrote Shearer.
“Tottenham Hotspur didn’t have the best season but he’s been absolutely magnificent.”
Kane was the only Spurs player to make the cut, with Manchester City and Manchester United players forming the bulk of his XI.
Kane is the best striker in world football, without a shadow of a doubt.
Not only is he obviously incredible as a centre-forward but he’s also shone playing as a No. 10 this season.
Spurs are lucky to have him and, amid heavy speculation linking him with a move away, trying to convince him to stay should be a priority.
